Hi, My name is Asnath, and I am a postdoctoral researcher in the DigiSAt project at the University of Copenhagen.
My research interests are decolonising design and futures-making with communities at the margins. My work is situated at the intersection of participatory design and design anthropology, with a particular interest in community-based participatory design, imagining plural futures through co-designed technological interventions, and dialogic curation. Throughout my academic career, I have worked with different youth communities in Namibia by exploring everyday realities, studying the role of technologies in people’s everyday lives and how such technologies are adopted in informal settlements.
